Seth Jason repeatedly threatened to assault and kill former Congresswoman Greene and he did so from inside Voice of America where he had a taxpayer-funded job. His menacing phone calls were part of an alarming increase in threats directed at Members of Congress and other government officials. No one should have to live their life in fear wondering if threats are about to be fulfilled. Today’s sentence sends a clear message. My office will not take these threats lightly.
Today, @USAttyPirro announced that Seth Jason, 65, of Edgewater, Maryland, was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison in connection with a 15-month campaign of intimidation in which he made anonymous death threats against former U.S. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.
I introduced the SHUSH (Silencers Help Us Save Hearing) ACT to end this absurd state of affairs. A suppressor/silencer by itself is about as dangerous as a piece of pipe. On a firearm, it reduces noise and the danger of hearing loss. We should remove all fees and restrictions and let Americans freely purchase this non-lethal accessory.

Did you know that Unborn baby have beating hearts that pump blood at 22 DAYS? Dr. Peter Ward, a respected embryology professor and researcher, confirms this fact. A professor at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, he described the development of the human heart in a 2018 YouTube series through Lecturio Medical, which helps medical students prepare for the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE). Professor Ward explained that the heart begins as a “single tube” in the human embryo very early after the unique, human life begins, and quickly develops into a functioning, beating organ. The myocardium, or muscle of the heart, “starts beating about 22 days into development,” he said. “This is important because at this point the embryo can’t get much larger without a heart,” Ward continued. “Simple diffusion of gasses and nutrients from cells is no longer sufficient to handle the size of the embryo. We can’t just create cavity after cavity for these things to diffuse. We need to have a circulatory system, and the heart starts pumping at 22 days because we absolutely have to have it to get any larger.” Ward has been teaching embryology, anatomy, histology and neuroscience since 2005, according to Lecturio. His degrees are from Carnegie Mellon University and Purdue University.
