The Hopfield network can store patterns and has a method for recreating them. SQL Interview Q: What are the two conversion functions in SQL? Type conversion is the process of converting one data type into another. In SQL, data types can be converted either implicitly or explicitly. Implicit conversions are not visible to the user. SQL Server automatically converts the data from one data type to another. Explicit conversion is when you convert data from one data type to another using the CAST or CONVERT function. This conversion is visible to the user and requires you to specify the data type you want to convert to. CAST is part of the ANSI-SQL specification; whereas, CONVERT is not. In fact, CONVERT is SQL implementation-specific. CONVERT differences lie in that it accepts an optional style parameter that is used for formatting. CAST is the more portable function of the two. It means that the CAST function can be used by many databases. CAST functions also restore the decimals when converting from decimal to float or real The following example uses the CAST function to convert the decimal number 5.25 to an integer SELECT CAST(5.25 AS INT); The following example uses the CONVERT function to convert the current date and time to character data in the ISO 8601 format SELECT CONVERT(VARCHAR(30), GETDATE(), 126); Have you used any of these functions?
