I'd argue prices dropped so much because: - Knicks season ticket holders (and secondary market) put them up for absurd prices for Game 3, not fully wanting to sell but some willing to take the $$$ and still be able to possibly see the sweep or Game 6 (which I predict could be MASSIVE prices) - Ticket demand for Game 4 dropped immensely once Knicks loss potential for sweep - tonight is for fans that cldn't afford Game 3, which had the added incentive of being there for team's first Finals game in 27 years - that being said, crowd needs to go WILD and be loud tonight

NBA Finals Game 4 price peaked at $14,300 per ticket on June 5 and has crashed to $3,201 with about an hour until tip off. That is a 77.6% price decline from peak to present.

🚨Unless something changes drastically in the next 48-72 hours, Gianni Infantino and @FIFAcom executives have no interest in lowering primary ticket prices. They are using sponsor companies to give away tickets. My best advice is continue to monitor secondary ticketing sites. And remember, FIFA tickets are not eligible to be transferred 1 hour prior to start of a match so if you buying on a secondary platform make sure it’s 3:4 hours before match time at the minimum. @FIFAWorldCup

All 4 remaining NBA Finals games are trending lower on the 24-hour and 72-hour price metrics. Tonight’s game still has nearly 8% of the venue sitting on the secondary market. That is a lot of inventory heading into tipoff, which means there are still a lot of last-minute buyers waiting to buy.

Do not use StubHub. I purchased $1,500 of Journey tickets from them. They promised delivery before 4:30pm for a 7:30pm show. I spent 3 hours in the afternoon trying to get the tickets. Nothing. The venue was an hour from my home. At 6:30 no resolution, no contact. I did not go. I received upgraded tickets from them via email at 7:37pm via email. The show had started. I asked for a complete refund. They refused. They said I could have seen most of the show. These people are criminals. Period. @StubHub

Last week, an arbitrator blew up StubHub's convoluted arbitration agreement. STUB has failed to pay required AAA fees in four of my clients' cases; it has moved it address for Notices of Dispute six times in one year; its addresses have oftentimes been vacant or undeliverable; it claims its liability in most cases is limited to $200 in damages (even if they failed to refund a consumer $8,000 for scam tickets); STUB requires consumers to contact them by certified mail at shifting, bogus addresses while STUB can email the consumer if it so chooses; and the list goes on and on. They wanted to hide all of this in arbitration, but that's not working out so well for them.

StubHub is not the best source of truth for ticket market data. Also not the place for lowest prices. NBA Finals Game 4 is a good example: the same tickets are nearly 10% cheaper on TickPick.

It is astonishing the lack of ticket buying currently taking place for the NBA Finals in San Antonio. Despite prices dropping from over 2k to currently under $700 there is still little to no buying taking place. Last week we saw Game 1 hit over 2k to get inside. After the Spurs punched their ticket to the Finals, the secondary market for Game 1 vs. the Knicks started cracking fast. Get-in price has fallen from $1,275 to $688 in just 72 hours. More notably, secondary supply is also up 3.3% in the past 24 hours. Falling prices + rising supply is usually a recipe for further price decay unless demand steps in quickly.

@RealSDiSo if my favorite artist or team required me to give persona and ticketmaster my ID. I'd either buy off the secondary or not go.
