I was recently explaining my trajectory in conservative evangelicalism to some people, and why I broke so hard with the Big Eva types and outlets, and I said, “It’s because you can’t wring one ounce of White guilt out of me. And they can’t stand that.” It’s true. I have no hate—zero—for other races/ethnicities. I also don’t hate White Americans. And I never will. You know, because it’s the right and Christian thing to do. There’s just no world I could ever hate White Christians in America to the degree that @IVMiles does here. His post is actually deeply sick and evil when you think about it. He’s glorifying and calling for the racial subjugation of White American Christians under Nigerian bishops—based on *racial* factors. He, of course, can only get away with this because he’s attacking White Americans. He could never and would never “reverse the roles” here.

Welcome to June 2026. After around 10 years of an intentional liberal shift and widespread organizational decline, this is the month that the courageous conservatives in the Southern Baptist Convention finally regain leadership and start turning things around!

There is a major sect in our SBC world who claim to be conservative and that there are no real liberals among us. I believe the reality is quite the opposite. Work by @megbasham, @WilliamWolfe, @mdevine60, and @jrwhitehead has given ample receipts and evidence to this. The reality is, so many of our leaders are functioning liberals. This has become apparent time after time. Take @DennyBurk for example. Look at how awful, liberal, or liberal adjacent his positions and statements are: His endorsement of Sam Alberry was… something. & today he’s going to bat with TGC to argue against abolitionists on the side of Pro-lifers who are consistently the people standing in the way of ending abortion. He’s opposing a clear biblical teaching with pragmatic arguments. Denny may not know it but he is a functioning lib and the only way forward is to call it what it is and be self aware that progressivism, feminism, and, modern liberalism have certainly effected (or infected) you as well. Learn how to apply your theology from people who are upfront about this and have changed or who have been rooted enough in Scripture and confessions to not be tossed around like the rest of us. We need men who are clear, unapologetic, and courageous against the deception of our day.

I don't regard so many people that way—only those biological males who persistently engage the same way little girls do. Such behavior is appropriate for girls, but is malakoi for men. I only have 7 on my list (so far). @elimcgowan is one of a few. He earned it.

Until SBC leaders are willing to put everything at risk to fix this issue: jobs, sinecures, good relations with those pushing acceptance of egalitarian practice, this issue will not be fixed. Rank and file messengers have crawled over glass to try to fix this issue for four years in row. Year after year, small country churches have scrimped and saved to send their full messenger slate. One day soon, I fear, they’ll stop showing up. I don’t think SBC appreciates how close the SBC is to seeing a preference cascade of conservative churches from the convention.

The desire for the SBC to be the free church universal — a communion for everyone without a pope— rests on liberal anthropology, not gospel. How strange to say these churches must give up their geography to have a legitimate Baptist meeting.

That the South has an inherent right to host the vast majority of SBC annual meetings rests on a presupposition that it is fundamentally a regional denomination held together by gospel commitment *and* cultural proclivities.
