Lets me give you guys small gist. Early in my career, I worked with Bank of Agriculture at their Headquarters in Kaduna. GEJ was President Namadi Sambo was VP There was one farmer we were chasing aggressively for loan recovery. He owed 400 million Naira (about 2.5billion naira in todays money) We had started visiting him at home, as well as his office (his farm). After about 2 months with little or no success, we restructured the loan and started collateral enforcement. Thats how we got a letter from the Presidency to back off 🙃😂 These are the ways the Nigerian institutions and economy were destroyed slowly but surely. Thank God @bankofagricng has been overhauled and restructured by the President. The bank has also witnessed the largest injection of capital into an agricultural finance institution in Nigeria’s history - N1.5trillion Well done to @ayosotinrin for cleaning up the institution ✅

1. Not that I owe you any explanation but because of a few others reading this that might think your question makes sense, let me drop a word. 2. No one is asking that question because it’s a meaningless question. I’m a Nigerian who kept my children in Nigerian schools. He will also be attending a Nigerian University. 3. I’ve had a business and home in Lagos for many years before politics. Kids grew up in Lagos, nursery and primary in Lagos, all of a sudden, because I won my election, I should change their trajectory and bring them to the constituency. How does that make sense? 4. The education of my children has nothing to do with my politics. Interestingly, a school in Lagelu Local Government in Oyo state called Nickdel College was a top consideration for us. We however settled for this school because his cousin that he grew with was already there. That helped his assimilation. 5. Trying to turn the location of my kids’ schools to where I won my election na offside. Any agenda to highlight lack of quality schools in Oyo state should be directed to the state governor and his local government chairmen. Guess the location of the schools of the kids of our governor?

For you to understand Nigeria's economic reality, the whole increase in revenue and taxes net will probably take us to $ 45 billion. Look at SA's revenue, driven by PIT and VAT. Take Note of South African Revenue Service and its performance. Consolidated expenditure is $163bn. Nigeria with 200m people, with "Oil" can't pull 30% of SA's revenue. There is heavy lifting to be done to grow the economy. Years of subsidies have only impoverished us and made us unproductive. PBAT will fix it.

However, securing inputs and keeping blending plants active and productive, is only the first step. The real test is last-mile and immediate access. Fertiliser must reach the farmers who need it, when they need it. That is why, amongst other programmes, we launched the Renewed Hope Farm Input Support Programme (RH-FISP) through the National Agricultural Development Fund. Under this intervention, 515,720 bags of locally produced fertiliser are being distributed to 128,930 smallholder farmers across 25 states and the FCT for the current planting season. The NADF, as part of this mandate, is also supporting modern agriculture through digital extension services, harmonised fertiliser application guidance, and targeted support for priority crops including rice, maize, cassava and soybean. 4/

As of May 2026, more than 449,000 metric tonnes of fertiliser inputs, equivalent to about 9 million bags, had been secured, with 10 vessels discharged or in transit. We remain on track to deliver a 1.1 million metric tonne fertiliser programme this year, equivalent to about 22 million bags. Despite the global shocks, strategic contracting for key inputs also generated ₦61.58 billion in savings in 2026 alone, helping to keep fertiliser more affordable for farmers. Nigeria now has more than 90 operational fertiliser blending plants, the largest blending capacity in Sub-Saharan Africa. This capacity means jobs, local production, industrial growth, and greater resilience for our food system. 3/
