Spool Cars - Design-Engineer-Reflect 3D modeling (TinkerCAD), metal working, laser cutting, fabrication. Cars traveled 20’-45’ powered by a single rubber band. This was a head scratching challenge for 8th graders. #WeAre7b #WeAreChappaqua @SevenBridgesMS #STEAM

Today a STU used an extension cord as a straight edge. This could be a very creative practice in theory. However when accuracy is needed it is important to use the correct tools. Skill building is so important for a strong STEAM education. @SevenBridgesMS #wearechappaqua #weare7b
Earlier in the year, Ss worked on a project to improve the courtyards. Top 3 improvements included. 1.wifi 2.places to sit 3.shade We made a start by building 2 Adirondack chairs with @kristan_pozzuto. Great job 8th graders! More chairs to come next year. #weare7b @SevenBridgesMS
