The Spotify/UMG discourse has been fascinating to watch. What a lot of people are glossing over is how Suno structurally changed music and streaming in such a short period of time. Spotify was reactionary. The industry's hand was forced. Suno is valued somewhere around $5

I got singing lessons and toured with choirs. I received a formal college music education. I had my own PA system and car for touring. I had fancy home studios and instruments. This was a privilege most will never experience. So of course I am pro-AI. Let everyone cook.
