Nous connaissons l’état désastreux de la justice, portée à bout de bras par les acteurs judiciaires. Rappelons que la France est l’un des pays européens qui investit le moins en pourcentage du PIB dans sa justice. Mais cette affaire semble cette fois dépasser la chronique judiciaire habituelle. Ce qui est nouveau, c’est l’ampleur de la prise de conscience collective qui traverse aujourd’hui la société. Pour la première fois, il semble émaner une sensation partagée : l’État faillit dans sa fonction la plus élémentaire, protéger les plus vulnérables. Les annonces politiques de tous bords ne répondent pas à ce niveau d’exigence. Seules des réformes structurelles avec des moyens dignes pour la justice pourraient répondre à la crise que nous traversons depuis trop d’années. Ce moment de lucidité collective doit être l’occasion d’une réflexion commune, et non d’un énième cycle de communication.
