All storefront requests are now served by the latest version of ruby with YJIT enabled! We are seeing ~10% speedups across the board. YJIT that has been developed by @Love2Code's and team at Shopify.

@fxn C is pass-by-value, but Ruby and Java are a bit different. You can't reassign the variable, but if you mutate the value, it's also mutated in the caller. I didn't know that but apparently it's called call by sharing. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evaluatio…
