@NavyAntifa @middle_class_us If there is a couple making minimum wage, buying a house shouldn't be your first priority it should be getting skills for higher wage jobs. Also people making minimum wage in the 70s 80s 90s weren't buying houses contrary to internet opinion.

@RoKhanna Wealth isn't and shouldnt be taxed. Income being taxed is bad enough, wealth being taxed is double taxation. Once you run out of rich people to tax their wealth then you'll decide to tax the regular guy on his savings.

@creativeburne If you have a pension of say $40k a year. Its like having $1M. But plenty of retires have learned to retire on much less. Where it gets people is long term care. If you dont start early you need to stack cash in your hopefully high earning years of 50s early 60s.
