Simple Combinations Win Fights You don’t need 10-punch flurries. Build everything from: 1️⃣ Single punches followed by head movement 2️⃣ 2 punches followed by footwork 3️⃣ 3 punches then disengage & reset ↩️ Assess the impact Clean, sharp, repeatable. Fundamentals beat flash.
Every punch needs defensive responsibility. Offence without defence gets punished. Train these habits: 🥊 Punch → return to guard 🛡 Elbows in 👀 Eyes open ✋ Non-punching hand on the cheekbone 👣 Feet always underneath you Safe boxing = smart boxing.
Most punches miss because range is wrong. Great boxers control distance with: 👣 Small steps 🥊 A controlling lead hand 📍 Strong positioning ↩️ Quick exits 🎯 Entering behind the jab Control the range → win the fight.
Boxing fundamentals never expire. The best fighters obsess over basics: 👣 Solid footwork 📍 Strong positioning 🥊 A reliable jab 🛡 Jab defence 🔥 Simple 2–3 punch combinations Master the fundamentals → everything improves.
The Guard Is More Than Just Hands Up It’s a full system. A strong guard means: 🛡 Elbows in 👊 Hands active 😤 Chin tucked 👀 Vision clear ⚖ Balance maintained You should be comfortable, composed and confident in your guard.
Head Movement Isn’t Dancing It’s understanding. Master the basics: ↘️ Slip the right hand to your left ↗️ Slip the left hand to your right 🔄 Roll under hooks with lateral movement 🎯 Come back with simple counters Move with purpose, not panic.
Boxing Conditioning Done Right You don’t need random chaos. You need consistent, repeatable rounds: 🥊 Skill rounds (deliberate technique) 🔥 Pace rounds (variable output) ⚡ Sprint rounds (0-100, explosive) 🚶 Recovery rounds (steady movement) Train like you fight.
How To Generate Real Punch Power Power isn’t strength. It’s mechanics: 👣 Ground force 🌀 Hip rotation 🧱 Stable base 🎯 Clean connection ⏱ Timing > tension Maximum velocity delivered through the most efficient plane of movement to the correct target.
The Real Secret To Boxing Combinations It’s not speed. It’s structure. Build combos with: 1️⃣ 1 or 2 Punches 2️⃣ Head Movement 3️⃣ 1 or 2 Punches ↩️ Safe Disengagement Fluidity beats force.
How To Stop Getting Hit So Much Most beginners do one thing wrong: They admire their work. Fix it: 🥊 Punch → Guard 🥊 Punch → Move 🥊 Punch → Slip or Roll 🥊 Punch → Reset Defensive responsibility.
