Preprint: My favorite project so far! We describe how encapsulation peptides from bacterial microcompartments trigger biomolecular condensation. We also show the necessary molecular features that guide specific self-assembly of these omnipresent peptides. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Some bacteria have linear chromosomes and therefore telomeres. As in eukaryotes, a variety of transposons have evolved to occupy bacterial telomeres and establish addiction mechanisms! 🤯🤯🤯 Amazing story by @JoePetersLab at #cshlTE24 and fantastic work by @PopoMicro
