Expected path for tomorrow's Valkyrie parachute test. Almost vertical at first: first stage opening, the skydiver coming down fast. Then the slope bends - canopy opens up more, descent slows to a glide. Tomorrow we test a smoother, more failsafe way of controlling that opening.

This day in 2018 we successfully performed the World's first human skydive test under a triple-cluster parachute with 2 stage unreefing. We'll use a similar system to recover our crewed Spica rocket booster, so this was a significant milestone. Video: bit.ly/3crzzwp⠀
