@estelle92_ @toms3dp On a scale of 1 - 10, the neck pain was probably 6 or 7. The tongue issues lasted long after the dissection healed, since it was a nerve problem. But went away after about a year. I only knew I had a dissection because of the MRI. My doctor suggested it due to new Neuro problems

@estelle92_ @toms3dp I had neck pain and headaches at first. Then I lost some control of my tongue and speaking became a bit difficult. Treatment was blood thinners for about a year, and patience while it healed. When the time had passed, I had to have another MRI to see if it had healed.

@estelle92_ @toms3dp It took about a half hour, and they did do the contrast dye toward the end. They did both the neck and head at the same time. My neck and head had to be in a brace, so it was a bit more claustrophobic than a regular MRI.
