𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐕𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 BVAS malfunction remained a recurring challenge during this reporting period. In Ijero, voting reportedly stopped because the BVAS device failed and disputes among voters complicated efforts to resume activities. At Oja Aaye in Ilawe, voters were unable to cast their votes because the BVAS machine malfunctioned. Security personnel reportedly contacted the INEC office, but assistance had not arrived at the time of observation. Officials considered taking the device for repairs but were advised to keep the machine at the polling unit. These incidents demonstrate that technical failures continued to affect and disrupt the efficiency of the election process in some areas.

At Ward 2, Unit 4, Ilawe Ekiti, in Ekiti West LGA, the governorship candidate of the ADC, Dare Bejide, expressed dissatisfaction with the conduct of the election after casting his vote. Speaking in a live interview at the polling unit, Bejide alleged widespread irregularities, including vote-buying and voter intimidation. He claimed that party agents arrived at polling units with bundles of cash to influence voters and also accused a Special Adviser to the state governor of harassing him during the voting process.

𝗦𝗺𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 Several Registration Area Centres (RACs) reported that election materials had arrived and were being distributed without major problems. In some locations (Moba LGA, Ilejemeje LGA, Emure LGA, Irepodun/Ifelodun LGA, Ado LGA, and Ise/Orun LGA), materials had already been moved to various wards, while officials and corps members were sorting and preparing them for deployment. This indicates that the arrival and distribution of election logistics are currently on track in many parts of Ekiti state.
