We are so excited for our first PhD, Dr. @GabrielLipkowi2 ! As our first graduate student in the lab, Gabriel was and continues to be a trailblazer in many ways! Congrats Dr. Lipkowitz 🎉
Another PhD! My student, @GabrielLipkowi2, successfully passed his final defense!! (My 81st PhD student; 1st at @Stanford!). Beautiful work on iCLIP that garnered almost another order of magnitude in print speed (over CLIP), multi-resin printing and printing of viscous resins.
Once again, the @DeSimoneLab has a strong summer program with Patrick Chou (rising high school senior), Malayasia Moses (Stanford undergrad, ChemE REU), Montana Lagat (Stanford undegrad, ChemE REU), Bruklyn Williams (Stanford undegrad, MechE REU), Stephanie Boczek (Stanford undergrad, ChemE REU) and Modeste Rukundo (University of Oklahoma undergrad, Stanford SURF intern). Excited to share the first microarray microneedle patches (MAPs) designed at @Stanford and printed on @Carbon’s first high resolution “S2 Printer” that was recently installed in the @DeSimoneLab! This printer has a projected Pixel Size of 5.4 microns and a Build Area of 15.3 mm x 9.5 mm, with a Build Height >100 mm! It runs all of Carbon’s advanced software found on the M3 (it’s built on the M3 chassis) and all of the Carbon and third party resins. Reliability and reproducibility, here we come…!
