Now, more than ever, we need Defend the Guard. The men and women we elect – both parties, no exceptions – are not worthy of the sacrifices made by our troops. If these chickenhawks are so hungry for war, let them line up. Grab a rifle. Lace up some boots. Square up against the foreign leaders they’ve got beef with and Live Action Role Play (LARP) their tough-guy fantasies until their hearts are content. Of course, we won’t give them real weapons. "Not to mention the political dynamic. The debates and stuff that would precede that movement: Okay we want to activate them, and you've got the controversy in the state capital, like 'Wait a minute! The other 46 states are now looking at what's going on over there.
