@rphviews @bombaylives Fair point about immediate relief and legal liability. But the bigger question remains: why are such collapses happening repeatedly? The issue isn’t just compensation after a death, it’s preventing avoidable deaths in the first place. Accountability should come before payouts.

After today’s Mulund incident, where a so-called ready-to-use structure collapsed and a life was lost… the compensation announced is just ₹5 lakh. Compensation or insult? How cheap has human life become? Something is deeply broken. Corruption everywhere, accountability nowhere. Humanity feels missing, and everyone is just busy saving themselves. Honestly, if I ever get the chance to leave this country, I won’t look back. Because today you’re safe, and tomorrow someone else’s negligence or corruption can take that away in a second. Think about it.
