Adaptive re-use projects like this almost complete project in Surry Hills retains a memory of the past whilst being confident of the present. It’s been adapted, not sanitised, to a thoroughly fit-for-purpose, sustainable contribution to twentieth-century Sydney. #Architecture

This is our approved DA scheme which was approved by the Land and Environment Court last year for a house in Greenwich. We’re now pursuing an alternative design without a carport on the street and, what we think is a superior landscape and environmental solution.

This terrace house in Pyrmont and its adaptive re-use to a boutique hotel is being currently awaiting DA consent with City of Sydney. A combination of sandstone, timber, glass and steel. Projects like this contribute to the emergence of the inner city as a rich environment!

Hausmann Communications office building. The importance of a social and healthy workplace environment was considered fundamental to the success of the project. For that reason, open plan, non-hierarchical interior space is combined with external landscaped break-out spaces.

Our almost complete ACC Junior School in Marsden Park will be complete for 2023. It provides a heightened amenity for students, their relationship to the outdoors and a better environmental outcome for the community without the expensive price tag inner city facilities.

Sydney siders are leaving for regional centres which have grown by 32,000 people. Government and urban planners should look to small cities to be better connected and fostered for mature urban growth. Time for better transport infrastructure and urban consolidation beyond Sydney!

Projects like this club extension at the north end of #MacquarieStreet are aligned with the NSW government’s plans to revitalise Sydney’s Macquarie St. as a tourist/civic hub. Courage and vision is needed to develop the city as an economic metropolis full of vibrant destinations.
