In a game full of unique abilities, after this update, everybody stands around spamming the one ability they share in common: the melee attack. Adding an urn deposit spot at mid was a good idea, it could rotate between that and the side lane and be a good change.

@itsNik_DL IMO all the emphasis on mid dilutes mid boss, which is the obligatory objective at mid. I can see the occasional urn fight at mid but in my experience fighting around the bridge is actually less fun than the sunken platforms from before

@TheCS2Historian I think what you're pointing to is how chaotic it gets trying to decide whether to defend urn or not. Before I think the calculus was a lot easier to run. Are we close to the other side of the map, are we set up, are we too down in numbers? Now it's just muddled and unclear

@mrpotato44_ The result is that every match feels like non-stop action at mid, and pushing side lanes feels more like a skilled maneuver fitting into the action rather than something you're expected to do during predictable down-time

@mrpotato44_ They seem pretty intent on centralizing all the action. Not only did they make the urn dropoff there, but they even removed the jump pads to the side lanes, as if to further trap everybody at mid. They are doing it intentionally, that much is clear

@Pektor3 I think this is because the deposit spot is always at mid. It removed a lot of the variety in matches. It should not *always* be at mid

Since the distance between a deposit spot at mid is shorter than the old deposit spot, it could take longer to drop at mid as a risk/reward.

@cs_loops I love the authenticity in their version, a lot of those material ideas (the subtle white bricks and tile) are actually really tough to pull off and integrate cohesively and they make it look easy and effortless. Like I said, they are the best.
