Well... It speaks on how much you're paying to get one Naira of the companies Earnings Take for instance Wema bank is around 80 P/E Ratio while strong banks like Zenith and GTCO is around 5 P/E Meaning that I'm paying only 5 Naira for 1 Naira of the companies Earnings which is relatively cheap to me However, just like you mentioned in your post, a high PE doesn't automatically mean that the company is expensive. It can still speak on the future potential of the company
