Two Fokker Dr.I triplanes hunted a lone Sopwith Dolphin over Flanders. Von Kessler and Haldermann closed in, Spandaus chattering. The British pilot twisted and fought, but the triplanes raked him from every angle. Smoke, then flames. The Dolphin spun down trailing fire and crashed into the trees.Shared kill. No cheers. They turned east, landed, and drank French cognac in silence. Tomorrow the sky would demand more.#WW1Aviation

Needed a quick dinner and only had linguine, a bell pepper, onions, cherry tomatoes, jar pesto, and some frozen shrimp in the fridge. Asked Grok to help me whip up something delicious with what I had on hand… and this easy Medeteranian Pesto Linguine with Zucchini & Shrimp was born! 🍝 30-minute weeknight winner using simple ingredients + frozen pre-cooked shrimp. No fancy stuff needed! Ingredients (serves 1-2): • 4-6 oz linguine • 1 bell pepper, sliced • 1 medium zucchini, sliced into half-moons • 1 onion (red or white), sliced • Handful cherry tomatoes, halved • 3-4 tbsp jar basil pesto • 8-12 oz pre-cooked frozen shrimp • 3-4 garlic cloves, minced • 1-2 tbsp butter + olive oil • Salt, pepper • Optional: ¼ cup marinara, parmesan, spinach How to make it (super easy!): 1. Thaw frozen pre-cooked shrimp in cold water 5-8 min. Pat dry. 2. Boil linguine, save 1 cup pasta water. 3. In a skillet, sauté bell pepper, zucchini & onion in oil + butter 5-6 min. 4. Add tomatoes, cook until blistered. Stir in garlic 30 sec. 5. Add drained pasta + 3-4 tbsp pesto + splash of pasta water + butter. Toss until silky. 6. Add shrimp on low heat — just warm 1-2 min (already cooked!). 7. Taste, adjust seasoning. Done! Why it’s so easy: • Uses mostly pantry staples + one quick veggie shop. • Frozen pre-cooked shrimp = thaw + warm only (no raw cooking stress). • One skillet + one pot. Minimal chopping. Yeah I don't know where the theft happened, and that's why these thieves are brazen, they rely on, too many suspects for any meaningful investigation. My complaints go unanswered. Personally I believe the theft happens at the US Customs office, because it's usually international mail that gets pilfered.
