11060 Frances Ln Palos Park Made $742,000 from covid fraud Paid no property taxes on the home for 22, 23, 24 because Kaegi had it as vacant land until 2025 Then she ran for Congress
23-32-305-012 11060 Frances Ln Palos Park This home sold in January of 2022 for $815,000. The #CookCountyAssessor still shows it as vacant land with a market value of $95,380 Also this sale was erroneously included with other land sales in determining land values in the area
23-25-418-007 12512 S Harold Ave Palos Heights Palos was reassessed in 2023 & again this year in 2026 So why would this value go up in 2025 by $58,320 in a non-tri year? Kaegi's Office has decided to tax pools Naturally homeowners were not told about this tax increase

We were genuinely perplexed when after posting religiously about property missing from the tax rolls, the Tribune praised Kaegi for his command of the data. After seeing NBC Chicago’s post, it seems obvious that accuracy is not a priority for some like it is for us
Fun fact: back when the tax bills were on time, the Assessors Office had all the mailing dates set for the year & available for anyone to see in January Today, township/gov’t offices can’t plan & have no idea when their offices will be flooded with taxpayers who just received their reassessment notices

I maintain that perhaps the weirdest story in our recent election cycle is the amount of his own money Fritz Kaegi spent to run for Cook County Assessor. He’s not a particularly charismatic or memorable guy and there’s a long line of Dems with more political clout than him. I’m not sure what higher office he thought was in reach, especially after making Big Real Estate his #1 enemy. And if he didn’t have designs on higher office that would be even weirder. In any case, good riddance.
#PACservations: Fritz Kaegi's failed campaign spent $3.2 million last quarter. Fritz's campaign fund has $134,000 cash on-hand with $7.4 million in loans outstanding, all due to Fritz himself. Guessing he's not paying himself back.
Good catch. Permit shows they put a lot of money in to renovate the building. Clearly no field check occurred to capture the renovation which explains the low value Great example why physical inspections are necessary. Can't see renovations from aerial imagery. We tried telling Fritz that
