@Aviation3601 I know I haven’t said much been on a hiatus, learned I can’t model for shit or texture but have been gettin good at Livery making, the F104s future is unknown at the moment I will try to up dat should guys soon.
On my Vietnam Assets mod, a mod reworking some AI assets already present in DCS along with adding new AI aircraft like the F-104C, F-100D, F-111, F-105, and a remodeled F-4E.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FROM @kgunnr ! As of today, the development of the F-104c as a flyable mod is being put on hold. I by myself just don’t have the time and will to continue completely. With that said, I will be continuing development (1/2)
been having a tough time holding myself together lately. sorry if 104 development updates are few and far between. I’ll try and get as much work done as possible but dcs apparently borked some of the modding framework. I’ll do as much as I can. - Kgunnr.
Been awhile since I put out an update. Still been working on model tweaks though it’s now *mostly* complete. Just having an issue when porting from 3DS to DCS. Still working on some annoying code bugs, but progress is looking good
Vietnam Assets roadmap: This month- F-100 working with missiles and bombs, F-105 working with bombs Next month- complete aircraft AI and a remodeled F-4, maybe a new model for the M60A1
UPDATED F104 ROADMAP- This month- finish animation on the new model and get some textures on it. Start with some weapons coding and maybe even have a complete AI. Next Month- cockpit model work continues August- finished cockpit model and flyable September- finishing touches
many things in the works rn, including the rebrand to Artemis. Been manking small model and FM tweaks. Gonna do some finishing on the model and then finish work on a paintkit. Especially looking forward to some skins by @Triplication_ ;)

Also reworked the landing gear (except nose gear) and flight model/engine model. Gonna add a full 3D engine model in soon. Will also add elevators and rudder tonight/tomorrow. Delayed work on animations because they’re really confusing lol.
@kgunnr ‘s F104 DEV LOG: Log day 1. Threw about 5 hours into the model today, fixed gaps in speedbrakes, ailerons etc. Model is pretty much ready for texturing (except I haven’t added elevators and rudder) and we have a skin template in progress. I’m gonna pin this tweet.
Did some flight model patching today and I have a new gear model in progress. Animations are annoying.
Gonna start work on animations and tune up the new gear model tonight. May even start the new cockpit if I’m extra bored.
