I am not teaching against Torah any more than Paul did. It had a place and purpose and that purpose is not carried into the new covenant. We are not under the law. @TChapman500 That does not fit with Galatians 6 where gentile Christian’s were being forced to be circumcised by the Jews. All of Galatians is a response to your position. The law of liberty trumps the ceremonial law of the Old Testament.

Christ gave us the scripture. He gave the Old Testament through the prophets and then gave the New Testament through the Apostles. The church only recognized what Christ did. Paul calls his words to the Thessalonians the Word of God. He knows he is giving them new revelation that is from God. As he spoke so he wrote to all the churches.

With all due respect, the Bible is Christ’s Bible and His Word to all mankind. It does not belong to the Orthodox or Catholic Church. He uses men who are flawed to preserve His word. The Scribes and Pharisees preserved the Old Testament and Jesus had plenty of critique for how far they had strayed from the truth they had preserved.
