This is counterintuitive. Because the estimated weight of the owner of the left one is about ten tons, while the estimated weight of the owner of the right skull is about eight tons. In other words, the African elephant is larger than the Asian elephant, but its skull is smaller

They are printed to scale based on the largest African elephant skull and the largest Asian elephant skull. Interestingly, despite having a wider snout and brow spacing, the African elephant's skull appears to be actually smaller than that of the Asian elephant.
