Loved Mr Wizard and I am NOT with climate change peeps. That said, this isn’t the same thing. Any parts of the polar ice caps that are underwater, you’re correct, will not change sea levels but any parts that are above water and melt and fall into the water WILL add to the mass of the ocean and raise sea levels. How much, don’t know but all we really have to do is look at water levels in the past before the ice age (able to do by looking at layers of earth) to see the amount of land mass then. That’s about where things will end up when all the ice is melted again.

@brockpierson I didn’t actually. We just had a bunch of FTP servers setup on campus when i started college and we just downloaded whatever. By the time i had heard of Napster I had an income so I bought CDs. Then ripped them on my computer.
