My take for today: Buyers are tired of yet another tool with logins and dashboards. They want real outcomes: less risk, cleaner results, money well invested, not just more software to manage. I think buyers/customers/us want to see actual value. I didn't start paying for ChatGPT at the very beginning, but now I'm not even sure how many subscriptions I have (obviously all the big ones: Claude Code, Codex, Grok, Gemini). BTW, Windsurf/Cursor were the first ones I was willing to pay for because it was a clear defined value maker. Simple. Buyers are now willing to pay only when we see the end result, which is another SaaS challenge: it no longer speaks for itself. It has to prove its worth to the customer, and I, for one, love it, it sharpens us and make us strive for better products, better solutions, real revolution, bring back the passion to create :). I'm in the process of releasing invoiceguardhq.com. I know it has tremendous value because it can identify lost/hidden money and pinpoint where the leak is. It is nice, real value for customers, but now I need to make it clearer through all media tools possible: this is the value. It doesn't speak for itself anymore because AI introduced a new paradigm: "someone" to talk to. :)

Great breakdown! The clearing account approach is underrated. The part most people still struggle with even after reconciliation is the follow-up side: knowing which invoices are aging, disputed, or just being ignored. That's where a lot of cash flow leaks happen after the accounting is clean.

This is the kind of thing that looks simple only after someone has already spent hours figuring it out.
