When I interviewed for a major insurance company in the 80s, they made me get a physical exam from their staff nurse. Also for audio/visual marketing.

@farhip @nminow Not to mention that the experienced producers walked out. My late husband used to work on the show, and it’s a very expensive and difficult production, particularly if they don’t have ongoing relationships with the unions and talent.

In celebration of WWII VE Day, the New York Historical Museum is displaying one of the most famous American wartime garments—Claire McCardell’s “Pop-over.” The original dress is from my collection and I researched and reconstructed the mitt she’s holding. I’m thrilled!
