Our young volunteers stocking up & sorting food for the Saturday morning team who will be packing parcels & distributing. Adult says: “it’s late let the morning team sort the food”... Young person responds: “No I’ll do it tonight so they have less to do in morning”... #TeamWork

1/2) Here is a short slideshow of showcasing some of our 2020 projects. 27816 hours of volunteering recorded & over 21000 portions of food distributed. It was a challenging year with lots of chopping & changing of activities. Thank you to everyone who contributed & supported us.

Our young volunteers have been busy finishing off the music/video studio with a green screen, lighting & drum kit kindly donated by @AceContainersUK. This project has been supported by @wy_vru. Young people have designed & converted a shipping container into a usable space.

Today I met with Ash Razzaq, Francesca Wood and Simon Flowers to discuss the incredible difference that @CATCHLeeds is making to the lives of young people in Harehills, Gipton and in Leeds more widely. This is just one example of the difference they are making during Covid👇
Our final figures are in for our #HealthyHolidaysLeeds programme during October half term week, we distributed 5535 portions of food to children & families. A further 2460 portions were delivered from our food bus. Check out the diagram produced by @CPAGUK the effects of poverty.

I see how some families and children are desperate for food when I volunteer at the food hub. I’m 16 and wish I could do more and maybe one day I might be able to. @MarcusRashford just wanted to say thanks for what you are doing and lots of children appreciate it like me.
