A Distribution Line outage is currently affecting approximately 500 KEYS’ customers in Key Haven. The outage was triggered at 5:09P. KEYS’ crews are actively working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. Please follow this post for additional updates.

While there is no time estimate for repairs, crews are working as safely as possible to restore power within the hour.
The outage was caused when a broken static wire (a line that serves as lightning protection) became entangled with transmission lines on US1, near the entrance to Key Haven. Additional crews are mobilizing to repair the damage and restore power.
