Every 44 seconds, one baby was killed by the abortion pill. With the widespread distribution of the abortion pill, the death toll continues to grow. The abortion pill kills babies and causes 1 in 9 women to experience life-threatening medical complications. It’s time to BAN this lethal drug from the market.

Dave Rubin writes that he and his husband would abort a child carried via surrogate if they discovered he or she was DISABLED. This is eugenics. If a disabled child were already born, it would be unconscionable to k*ll him or her for any reason. It is no different for the preborn child. Children are NOT products. Another man has been sentenced to prison for forcing abortion pills on his girlfriend. Here’s why the @FDA must BAN this deadly drug: In August 2025, Emerson Evans, 32, forced four abortion pills into his girlfriend without her knowledge or consent. Evans had reportedly been pressuring the woman to abort, but she had refused. Emergency personnel were called to the home in Bloomington on August 22 for a woman having a medical emergency. They found the woman crying in a bathroom, surrounded by a large amount of blood and the remains of her preborn baby in the toilet. The woman had been about seven weeks pregnant at the time. Though Evans had initially denied drugging the woman, he later confirmed to authorities he purchased the abortion pill drugs for $50 from “a girl on campus.” According to WGLT, Evans originally faced three counts of intentional homicide of a preborn child and one count of aggravated assault of a pregnant woman, in addition to one count of voluntary manslaughter. However, those charges were reduced to just one count of voluntary manslaughter following a plea deal. McLean County Judge Jason Chambers sentenced Evans to seven years in prison on the charge, with credit given for the 285 days already spent in the McLean County jail. Cases in which women are forced, coerced, or tricked into abortions they don't want are on the rise, due to the easy availability of the abortion pill. Abusive men can now access these life-ending drugs online, through the mail, or even on college campuses. Because information is easily falsified and seldom verified, the drugs are making their way into the hands of anyone who wants them — and the consequences have been dangerous to both women and preborn children. Women deserve to be protected from predatory men who want to kill their preborn children. As long as the abortion pill continues to be readily available with little to no oversight, women will continue to suffer.

New bill could BAN sex offenders from surrogacy by closing loopholes This is long overdue. Last year, it was discovered that Brandon Keith Riley-Mitchell had, along with his partner Logan Riley, been able to obtain a child through surrogacy, despite being a Tier 1 registered sex offender. The two men launched a GoFundMe page in 2023 to raise money for a surrogate to carry a child for them; once they had gained enough money, they used a donor egg and a separate surrogate mother, meaning the surrogate was not biologically related to the child. They eventually created four embryos, and at least one of the embryos was implanted into the surrogate's womb. She later gave birth to a little boy, which the same-sex couple then claimed as their own. A video the men shared of their first year with the boy went viral, and Riley-Mitchell's background as a sex offender was discovered. It immediately caused widespread outrage. While he was a teacher, Riley-Mitchell sexually propositioned an underage student; the Megan’s Law site for the state of Pennsylvania confirmed Mitchell’s status as a Tier 1 sex offender. He had been convicted for child sexual abuse and possession of child sexual abuse materials. Prosecutors found over 12,000 text messages between Riley-Mitchell and his victim. The surrogacy agency did not perform a background check on Riley-Mitchell, nor did he disclose his criminal history. A new state bill is looking to keep something like that from happening ever again. Under the legislation, surrogacy agencies which fail to perform background checks could lose federal funding, while employees responsible could face up to 20 years in prison. Legislation like this is sorely needed, but it should only be the beginning of regulating and reigning in the profitable and haphazard fertility industry.

Surrogacy intentionally creates a broken relationship. It treats children as products. It commodifies a woman's body. Children should have a right to their own mom and dad.

Nobody wants to bury their child. But having your child brutally killed via live dismemberment or lethal injection is infinitely worse. Many people diagnosed with Down syndrome live long and joyful lives. Their baby deserved that same chance.
