@orrdavid Don’t have anything on the insurers but how are you thinking about BDC unsecured bonds / BDC equity? Portfolio full of sponsor backed companies with low LTV on paper (but one can argue if the business is worth a 10x multiple vs 20x, LTV erodes quickly)
Anyone have any book recommendations for what’s the best way to identify when compounders stop being compounders / when great companies start losing their luster? Feels like that’s a part of the lifecycle of any company and knowing when the decline is secular vs cyclical is key.
