close to getting @heysealai to pay a toll road bill by simply taking a picture of it It tried to submit payment via the state portal but when that failed it suggested using a phone number and a voice provided by @BlockRunAI So I gave it a temporary card provided by @mercury and now I’m pretty sure I could pay for anything over the phone. So long as someone answers.

You gave your agent API access to some tool and pissed yourself with excitement when it clicked a button for you Meanwhile subscription costs are stacking up, your agent only knows the tools you manually wired in and you have plain text api keys sitting in a file you can't even find on your machine with x402 on @heysealai your agent can discover a tool, pay for the call, use it, and move on No subscription bloat or API keys

The biggest scam in AI right now is convincing yourself your workflow is agentic because you plugged Claude or ChatGPT into 19 subscriptions I'm looking at you if you do this insane workflow: • Subscribe for one feature • Hand your agent API/MCP access • Pay every month whether you use it or not • Slowly build your workflow around that vendor The future is agents discovering the right tool, paying for one narrow use case through x402, getting the result, and leaving.
