(If I’m going to make up shit I’d rather do it about something else besides how a human got murdered by another human.)

I designated the intruder as targetControlSystem. I hoped it was sentient enough to hurt when I killed it.

Fortunately I hadn’t just been standing there like a moron and didn’t drop the perfectly good opening she was trying to hand me.

When I said everything kept happening at once, it had mostly been an exaggeration, but now everything was actually happening at once.
I wasn’t surprised she was a supervisor. (I had worked with a lot of human corporate supervisors and after a while they were fairly easy to identify.)
