@TheTwilightDome So you don’t have an answer for a map? Our map works with all the models and independent research and observation, explains Coriolis, explains the weather cell pattern, sunrise and sunset, El Niño and La Niña, oceanic currents and jet streams. The flerf map does not.

@TheTwilightDome There are other far more in depth formulas you can use too but I don’t know them off hand. The thing about globe earth is that because it’s real we have answers to things like this. Flat earthers still can’t even provide us with a map that worls.

@ZeteticV3 You can do it at home pretty easily and get a number pretty close to 1Au You wait for a daytime half moon phase and then with some pretty standard trig you can find the angular difference and then use that to close the angle, which will give you a pretty accurate estimation.

@ApoloJedi_ We observer the infancy of stars all the time. But “formation” is a difficult thing to agree one. What’s makes a star? Is it the correct amount of mass? Is it self sustained nuclear output? Ignition? The exact definition of the birth of a star is vague
