I own the rarest Confederate Bowie knife in the world. It is the ONLY Confederate D-Guard Bowie knife known to exist that has an oil cloth wrapped handle. There are NO other known examples that have an oil cloth and single iron wire wrapped handle. It was originally owned by Mark Zalesky of Knife Magazine, and Mark sold it to my buddy Brian Akins of Rebel Relics. I bought it from Brian back in 2024. So, technically speaking, it is the rarest Confederate Bowie knife in the world.

There are two groups of people upset at Stellar Blade: Blood Rain's new protagonist's design. The LGBTQIA+ alphabet mafia, and the Antis. Tomboys have practically disappeared in the West, when they were far more common in the 80's and 90's. A lot of them were "reformed" into lesbians or transsexuals in the West. "Youthful" is seen as a patriarchal ageist and anti-progress anathema for many of the modern feminists. Evie is basically peak unapologetic femininity... where she is cute, petite, deadly, and designed to be appealing. That is basically hate speech, according to the alphabet mafia. The Antis are also overly preoccupied with depictions of youth and young characters, and "pedobait" in anything that isn't a 35 year old foid... They hate Evie's depiction as well, as they see a "child" in the face of a youthful adult asian face. This "style" is very common in East Asia, and it shows up frequently in K-pop, asian dramas, or even on just random asian instagram profiles. Combined with the reality that asians age more slowly, a lot of ignorant Westerners end up having a freakout when they see a youthful depiction of a asian face. The design is obviously popular. Just even a surface-level search, and there are tons of cosplays and R34 art that have exploded on the internet. The haters can cope and seethe

While I was briefly back in the US, I was disheartened by how many would say "oh is that still going on?" when referring to the war in Ukraine. It was incredibly frustrating for me especially as an active duty medic in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At that point its just willful ignorance. Everyone has a cellphone, laptop, tablet, etc. Information is literally at your finger tips. But instead of informing oneself properly, the choice seems to be watching AI slop, mainstream media, and other short attention span apps. The was is not over, it has not slowed down, we are still working and fighting for freedom in Ukraine, the frontline is still 1000 km long, civilians are still being killed by r*ssia every day. An Italian soldier carrying a Beretta BM59 battle rifle during anti-mafia operations in Sicily in the 1990s. During Operation Sicilian Vespers in the early 1990s, the Italian government deployed thousands of troops across Sicily to help restore public order and support the fight against organized crime after a series of high-profile Mafia assassinations. Soldiers patrolling cities and manning checkpoints were often armed with the Beretta BM59, a powerful battle rifle chambered for the 7.62×51mm NATO cartridge. The BM59 was essentially an extensively modernized version of the M1 Garand, featuring a detachable 20-round magazine, a folding bipod, and a distinctive multi-purpose muzzle device. Although the Italian Armed Forces were gradually adopting lighter assault rifles, the durable and hard-hitting BM59 remained a familiar presence during urban patrols and security operations throughout the campaign.
