Truth, awareness, courage, intelligence, discipline, decision making and maximum output and how they relate to success. Intelligence/awareness provides you with a maximum range of possibilities and choices. Your courage allows you with a cushion to fail, which allows you to iterate quickly through these many choices. Your emotional stability/discipline allows you to narrow down the possibilities and press on a few small choices over and over. Pressing on a few small optimal choices over and over provides expected value times volume which equals success.

Sacrifice and AGI What is it about sacrifice that is so compelling? Is sacrifice the only true way of knowing someone else loves you? Is it marked in small moments? Is it marked in large moments? How does a child measure how much they are loved? Are they watching to see what their parents sacrifice? Is this how we construct the fundamental frames of the world we live in? What will you sacrifice for? What cause is sufficiently great? Can you sacrifice what you think? Your current understanding of the world? Can you sacrifice other people's perception of you? Can you sacrifice in the face of loss. That is what separates AI from us. An AI can never face or feel loss. At least for now. When you die and they can feel your loss that's when we know they are one of us. It doesn't matter how intelligent they are or the amount they can create. The divide is sacrifice. When a robot can sacrifice itself for you, while valuing it's existence and trading it's worth for you in a meaningful way, we will know AGI has been achieved.
