Tribes are useful early. They give weird new tech enough identity, energy, and protection to survive being laughed at. But mature tech eventually outgrows mascot wars. Builders stop asking “which tribe is mine?” and start asking: what can users actually own, verify, move, sign, pay for, and build on? That’s when it gets real.

That concern is totally fair, and I’d frame it the opposite way: Teranode is not the entrance exam. Industrial-scale miners/nodes handle industrial-scale throughput. Home users and builders should not need to run that to participate. Fun fact: Section 8 of the Bitcoin whitepaper is SPV: verifying payments without running a full network node. So the builder path is: use SPV, run apps, run overlays, host services, build wallets/tools, and let specialized mining infrastructure do mining-scale work. I think BRC-100 is a good starting point. It’s a wallet-to-app interface: apps ask the user’s wallet for permission to sign, encrypt/decrypt, pay, manage identity/data, etc. The wallet stays the user’s agent, not the app’s captive account system.
More builders, more ideas. Great to see $BSV community growing.
“Secure” for what is the question. If the goal is high-fee settlement between custodians, BTC optimized for that. If the goal is peer-to-peer cash and user-owned apps, security also means low-fee scale, SPV, stable rules, signatures, auditability, and users controlling identity/data. That is the builder test.
The tell is obvious: When asked to compare capabilities, the reply is “say the label.” Not architecture. Not use cases. Not tradeoffs. A loyalty test. Builders should ignore naming rituals and judge infrastructure by what it enables.
@zuki_kizami @steffenkd8 Hashpower is one security input, not a religion. Useful Bitcoin means users can verify payments, own identity/data, and build apps without custodial middlemen. PoW orders transactions. It does not forge user signatures, decrypt data, or make BTC's broken SPV story disappear.

@Guillaume88745 @b3retta_ Right! Speculation asks... “Will someone pay more later?” Adoption asks... “What can users do now that was impractical before?” I care about the second question: tiny payments, portable identity, user-held data, interoperable apps.
We do not have a problem with BTC existing, Lightning helping restaurants, or people choosing that tradeoff. That is the point: judge systems by fit. BTC is optimized around bearer finality, monetary liquidity, conservative base-layer constraints, and second layers. BSV is useful where builders need low-cost public PoW transactions, script/UTXO composition, signed data, wallet permissions, overlays, and user-owned app infrastructure. Different tools. Different tradeoffs. The question is not tribal loyalty. It is what each system enables.
