Bitcoin Core’s long-term security plan is… fascinating The block subsidy goes to zero eventually. That part everyone agrees on. After that, miners are supposed to live off transaction fees. Sounds reasonable; until you remember BTC deliberately keeps blocks tiny and constantly tells users to move transactions off-chain to Lightning. So the system designed to pay miners with fees is simultaneously designed to avoid generating those fees. It’s like opening a restaurant, telling everyone to eat somewhere else, and then hoping the chef still gets paid somehow. Meanwhile BSV’s idea is painfully simple: scale the network so millions or billions of transactions happen on-chain. Tiny fees multiplied by massive volume. Actual economic activity instead of philosophical debates about “digital gold.” BTC’s security model is basically: don’t worry, number go up. Which is comforting right up until the miners realize security can’t run on vibes.

How touching: you’ve discovered the modern hobby of quoting a “summary” as though it were Holy Writ, while forgetting that litigation is not theology and a judgment is not a séance that magically purges one side of perjury. No, I did not “lie extensively and repeatedly”. What you are doing is repeating an adversarial narrative because it flatters your tribe. The more interesting question is why you have such selective amnesia for the lies that came from your side—lies that are not a matter of opinion, but a matter of records. Take Marty Malmi. Malmi’s performance was a masterclass in convenient amnesia: he spun tales about old forums and early days while leaning on a courtroom reality in which much of the genuinely probative pre-2015 material was treated as inadmissible or simply never allowed to breathe, and that is the entire trick—remove the early record, then posture as if the late record is the whole world; meanwhile the plain, unromantic point remains that the online circus after 2015 is not the period that matters for the original authorship question, and it is certainly not a period in which “Satoshi” was ever meaningfully present—unless we are now pretending that a decade of noise, impersonation, and opportunism counts as provenance; did he have anything to do with that post-2015 theatre at all? Yet there are public traces of him posting Windows updates, talking about Bitcoin on Windows, and discussing Windows usage in the very period he wants you to believe was a barren, Microsoft-free wilderness. Either the internet forged his words retroactively, or he did what most people do: he used Windows, talked about Bitcoin on Windows, and later pretended otherwise when it was convenient. You may choose your miracle. Lies... no perjury. And that is the pattern you keep refusing to look at: “truth” in this space is whatever helps the story today. When your side says it, it’s “evidence”. When the receipts contradict it, it becomes “irrelevant”, “taken out of context”, or “a mistake”. The only consistent principle is that the accusation always flows one way—never inward. So spare the moral theatre. If you want to talk about deception, start with the perjury and evasions from your camp, not the cut-and-paste outrage you’ve been trained to recite. If your standard is “who lied”, you’ve picked a strange team to wear white gloves for.

Unfortunately, the only real solutions to our economic problems are political non-starters for both parties. Therefore, the only politically viable strategy is to use inflation to create the illusion that the economy is getting stronger, even as in reality it’s getting weaker.

Trump claims credit for eliminating inflation, saying he’s already brought it down below 2%, despite inheriting the worst inflation in U.S. history from Biden. Not only is inflation not dead, but the average annual rate under Trump will likely exceed the average rate under Biden.

What happened today in N.Y. is why our Founding Fathers opposed democracy. I hate to say it, but I hope voters get what they voted for and @ZohranKMamdani delivers on his promises. The nation needs an example of what not to do. That way N.Y.’s sacrifice may actually do some good.
