I agree with you. Ironically, I think it’s actually that they are trying to be honest and transparent. To me, it’s a prime example that businesses are, generally, filled with good people who are attempting to improve lives and make the world a better place. However, yes, it would be nice if businesses understood that they aren’t the only ones doing that - that there will be millions of innovative businesses creating new and better jobs in the wake of AI.
This just goes to show that being a genius in one field doesn’t necessarily mean you know anything about the broader economy - perfect case study about why no one can successfully centrally plan the economy. Hyper growth would mean hyper prosperity - as it always has!
