Let's think of prompt-based models just as the starting point for AI music. There are so many other paradigms to explore and develop when it comes music creation.
How will artificial intelligence be a part of music production? The obvious starting point would be a text box, where a user generates something with a prompt Chat-GPT style. But Christian Steinmetz, a researcher in AI, doubts that such a system would be effective.
