@IllinoisJonez @jjones9 Most long time assistants aren’t exciting hires but I doubt the success rate is any less than any other random assistant hire. HC hardly matters in the NBA. You see guys win a Championship then get fired a year later. All that really matters is your roster.

I saw a game the other day where there were 8 minutes of added time. In the 91st minute (after the added time was announced) a player on the team leading had an “injury” and was down on the field roughly 3 minutes. The ref ended the game at 98:45 so he only added 45 seconds. It doesn’t really make any logical sense how they do it.

Soccer has always amazed me on how much some of these guys miss the net by. The net is fucking gigantic. Your job is to practice soccer all day every day. Some of these guys miss the net by 50 feet. Baffles me.
