In support of the Genesis Mission, Antares collaborated with @INL, @ORNL, @argonne, and @SandiaLabs to develop an AI iterative workflow from design to manufacturing to 3D print the reactor’s neutron sensor bracket, which condensed a multi-month process into weeks.
Last week, the Antares Mark-0 reactor achieved criticality, marking a historical milestone for American nuclear energy & the Genesis Mission. This is the first reactor to reach criticality under @ENERGY’s Reactor Pilot Program, established just 1 year ago. energy.gov/articles/depar…
