It's these simple things that highlight the need for a good UX designer or Business Analyst on a development team. Also that wording - it's not a "recommendation" if you won't allow a user to proceed with the selection.

The answer isn't but a better TV or change your settings. @eavoss does a good job of explaining the technical reason for the terrible lighting & puts it in better words why it should be up to the director to fix the problem.

@mjs_DC Alito doesn't even pretend to be a judge anymore. He is a religious zealot--using his power to impose his beliefs on everyone else. In a functioning democracy, that would be cause for removal--because he does not follow his oath of office.
