@HedgieStar01 @yt_xlord It's an Eggrobo from Sky Sanctuary, stepping up from the wreckage all the other Eggrobos. It's a teaser for Knuckles' story, where you face it in the bosses instead of Eggman.

@Perthtwit @BritishComedy Very usual. They copied to B/W film to sell to countries who didn't have colour TV yet. They stopped this around 1974. Alot of shows from that era only survive on B/W film, after the original VTs were wiped. Software exists now to recover the colour signal, in alot of cases.

@ThatsChroma @filmisfabulous Agree. You already lose picture to overscan when telerecording. Now cropped even more. Also footage of Kert in ep 1 hasn't been replaced with the original surviving film. So it's cropped & out of phase. Hopefully this will get the proper treatment for Blu Ray.

@AMadmanNotABox I'm mostly guessing tbh. But, based on the fact the modulation is inconsistent from ep to ep. Plus the Doctor's lines at the end of ep 6 from inside the TARDIS, being modulated like the Daleks. Something unlikely to happen if they were pre-taped.
