@jonorlando @dklappin The horseshoe casino at the same location hosts a tournament every day with 28% rake and yet only gets a handful of entries. Why is that? It’s because the wsop rake is competitive and people play those. If wsop put all events to 28%; we would see less over time play. Its a fact

@jonorlando @dklappin Everything is down because costs are expensive. Rake is another word for added cost. If you have $1 million in prize pool; but take out $300k instead of $100k in fees; that’s now the same amount of people on average winning less than before. Lower winnings = less future entries

@jonorlando Yeah for losers the rake never matters. Why care how much the prize is if you never win it anyway. It could be rake free or 100% rake and you wouldn’t notice because you are playing purely for fun.

@SavagePoker @PokerTDA @PokerGO There are cases where the all-in player would prefer to take the pot/extra chips and it’s an unfair floor ruling to allow them forfeit and not call if they didnt say it but be forced to call if they verbalized it by mistake.

@SavagePoker @PokerTDA @PokerGO Preflop if someone goes all in/raises big; if someone didnt see they get to forfeit chips but if they said call; it’s binding. In those cases; the all in player should get to say if it’s binding or let them forfeit their chips if its preflop. Unfair for both parties otherwise.
