@butlerd101 @llewelyn20 That said, very small function words are often predicted and skipped with minimal attention (which is why we sometimes don't notice 'and and' or 'the the').
@butlerd101 @llewelyn20 It's a common misconception that because saccades skip over certain words, this means they are not being recognised and processed, but this underestimates the breadth of (asymmetric) focus of each fixation.
