➡️ I contend that the reason that ZANU PF is succeeding with all their malicious projects is because there are too many well-meaning people who are now afflicted by 'Chamisa Derangement Syndrome '. The main symptom is that you attack Chamisa more than the ZANU PF regime that is oppressing and looting Zimbabwe to destruction. And because of the brain fog caused by the syndrome, this focus on trying to take down Chamisa, who is not in government or in power, somehow makes sense to you...👀🤷🏾‍♂️

The Constitutional Guardrails: Know Your Law We must be clear: the Constitution of Zimbabwe (2013) was forged in the spirit of democratic accountability and explicitly designed to prevent the perpetual rule we endured in the past. The ruling party's attempts to extend the incumbent's term are not only unethical but directly confront the supreme law of the land: 1. The Two-Term Limit (Section 91(2)): “A person is disqualified for election as President or appointment as Vice-President if he or she has already held office as President for two terms, whether continuous or not...” This clause clearly restricts the incumbent President, having already served two terms (2018-2023 and 2023-2028), from seeking re-election. 2. The Anti-Incumbency Clause (Section 328(7)): “Notwithstanding any other provision of this section, an amendment to a term-limit provision... does not apply in relation to any person who held or occupied that office... at any time before the amendment takes effect.” This is the ultimate constitutional guardrail. It means that even if Parliament votes to change the term limit to three terms, this change cannot legally benefit the person currently holding the office.
