@RepMaryMiller Where are her comments about the 10 innocent Afghans, 7 of them children, who were killed by an "accidental" US airstrike? A full investigation of the use of horses and bridal reins to keep people from illegally coming into the US but not the deaths of children? Hypocrisy!

Discomfort doesn’t always mean something is wrong. It could mean we’re being prodded out of the nest so we hear God’s voice. Followers of Jesus must be able to hear and follow God’s voice.

Mother eagle knows when it’s time for her eaglets to fly, but the little ones don’t usually have confidence or desire to leave the nest. Mother will remove the comforts of her nest, so the eaglets learn to fly. It's time for the church to leave the nest and fly.

God wants us to pray, not because he is powerless but because of the way he chooses to exercise his will. We are not pawns on a giant chessboard. God wants us to pray and to ask him for favorable outcomes. God can do whatever he wants, but he doesn’t want to do it without us.
